Is the UK in 2021 is it still a closed shop when it comes to making it big. When I was studying at college I was told by a lecturer it’s not what you do it’s who you drink your gin with that makes you big in the UK. It certainly seems to be the case in the City where I live Plymouth Devon. I Have over 30 thousand subscribers and over a million hits on one video alone out of over 2800, a lot of them recording the culture and lifestyle of this historicaly iportant City. It has been friustrating for me to watch the heritage being destroyed by the Plymouth fathers for there own interests over many years. They seem to forget that they only play a very small part in its outstanding history. From the pilgrim fathhers to Charles Darwin. Larence of arabia and many more people that have given far nore to the future than the ignarant boozers that run the City. I have struggled for years trying to get established recording many life sef finacing effectivly being a charity, investing my time and money with the iaim of recording possitive things in life that othhers have not captured. From gym life to the arts, Magic, Music, The barbican its people and local areas way before most people where doing it. I am still struggling , with obstacles put up on people that are not in the wealthy click in the City or the business heads that know how to get funding. for this reason I have concentrated on recording lives beyond Plymouth. Where even local towns are a breath of fresh air, in conjunction. Its frustrating to say the least and such a shame. But by traveling my life is and has been a lot richer than the people who have held me back over the years.
